We use a number of well known couriers to ship products from our producers to your door.

The vast majority of the time orders are processed without delay. However occasionally our couriers do experience delays; this is often due to an unexpected peak in demand and normally clears within 2-3 days.

Unfortunately there is very little that we can do to speed up the delivery network in these instance so we kindly ask for your patience. However if your order is still not delivered within the advertised delivery time on the product page of our website then please contact us and we will see what we can do to support.

In the very rare circumstance that your parcel is lost in transit we will dispatch a replacement free of charge.

Product Safety & Information

Learning towers are great for children from the point at which they can stand, right up to the point at which they can reach worksurface height comfortably unassisted.   In our experience a standard height platform fits children from 12 months up to 6-7 years or beyond; but of course this depends on the height of the child.

Pikler triangles are designed to help children mobilise as soon as they are ready until they have gained all of the skills they need to tackle the world! This could be as early as 6 months up to 6-7 years or beyond.

We realise that safety of our products is paramount. All of our products are produced in accordance with the General Product Safety Regulations (2005) and the Toys (Safety) Regulations 2011 where applicable.

Whilst our products of course comply with applicable safety regulations (as per above), learning towers are first and foremost a means by which toddlers and children can be elevated to reach work surfaces, for example in the kitchen. Compared to the alternatives of standing on a chair, box or other object, learning towers are much safer. However, the very nature of the height involved holds an inherent risk to be considered when using our products.

We recommend that you always supervise your child when using their learning tower. You should consider the level of coordination your child has developed and ensure they are supervised closely to befit their balance and awareness.

We ensure that all of our products are tested in accordance with EN 71-3 legislation, which assesses the migration of chemicals into the body if a toy or components of a toy were to be swallowed by a child. The migration of these chemicals is assessed by immersing the toy in an acid, designed to represent stomach acid, for two hours.  After this time, the acid is analytically measured to see whether chemicals are present. Products are certified providing there is no trace of chemicals in the acid, which means that the child too would be safe in contact with these paints.

We try to include the optimum amount of information on our Product Pages to support your buying decision. However if you need further information or clarity on any of our products, please Contact Us and we will be happy to assist!

Brexit & COVID-19

Nope! Our prices include all import tax, customs charges, and VAT (and delivery if over £100!) so the price you see is what you'll pay.

Brexit had a significant impact on shipping in early 2021, but the affects of this have now largely stabilised. We expect that your delivery will be received within the lead times advertised on the Product Page.

As the world begins to emerge from COVID-19 we don't currently foresee any further impacts on delivery. We will update this section in the future should this change.

Risk & Mitigation of using Learning Towers

Risks that you should be aware of when using learning towers include:

_ elevation of your child 'working' at height, which if used incorrectly could lead to falling and injury

_ the risk of tipping the tower over, which can be minimised by positioning (or even securing) the tower against a work surface.

_ risks posed by the moving parts on convertible towers not being secured properly prior to use

_ moving parts on convertible towers could also cause fingers to be caught when converting the tower between forms of use

_ for some of our more interactive towers (such as, but not limited to 'The Tinker Tower') there may be small parts such as marbles which could pose a risk of choking in small children

Risks that you should be aware of when using pikler triangles towers include:

_ elevation of your child at height, which if used incorrectly could lead to falling and injury

_ the risk of tipping the product over, the impact of which can be minimised by using in a carpeted or matted area.

_ risks posed by the moving parts not being secured properly prior to use

_ moving parts could also cause fingers to be caught when converting the product between forms of use

_ We recommend to never leave children unattended when using learning towers. You should consider the level of coordination your child has developed and ensure they are supervised closely to befit their balance and awareness.

_ You should where possible ensure that the tower is positioned against a work surface to minimise the chance of the tower tipping over and causing injury. You should also assist your child in climbing up and down from the tower.

_ For learning towers with moving parts, you should always check to ensure that all clips, fittings and fasteners are secured before your child attempts use.
